Northern Lights

Now I'm afraid to see The Golden Compass.

I just finished the book, which I've been meaning to read for years. It blew my mind!

I don't see how any piece of "entertainment" marketed to Americans can possibly be as subversive as this book. I am sure I will be disappointed in the film.
